LA FIASCO WITH ELYSIAN FEEL
Sunday, Dec. 20
Blue Moon Saloon
Doors: 8:30 p.m.
La Fiasco has a message to send to the world. A message of defiance in the face of adversity, of courage to push the limits of what we know as sound, and the absolute willpower to create real change, real dreams, real music in the heart of the southern United States. Elysian Feel is a 6-piece funk, soul, R&B outfit based in New Orleans. We’re an amalgam of hip hop rhythms, jazz influenced harmony, and soulful melodies. Our songs are built on the foundations of old school Stax and Motown records, yet experiment with themes from jazz fusion, neo-soul, and psychedelic rock. We’re inspired by Stevie Wonder, Snarky Puppy, Frank Zappa, Fela Kuti, and Stanley Clarke among many others.
