Grand slam for Grand Opening! Lunch buffet at the Ballroom Bistro.
If you're downtown for lunch today or tomorrow (May 24-25), you might want to check out the new scene at The Ballroom at 417 Jefferson. Creole chef Leedrick 'Life" Senegal is offering a daily buffet for lunch, including a 30-item salad and fruit bar for the health conscious plus a pasta buffet (lasagna, spaghetti and meat sauce, parmesan chicken and shrimp fettucine) and a variety of hearty soups, including beef veggie, broccoli potato, cheesy potato and shrimp and corn bisque. It's all half price for his grand opening special today and tomorrow.
For $7.99 you can't beat it. And Life promises not to disappoint. "I've been to a lot of restaurants where they're afraid to season their food," he told The Ind. "We're not gonna over do it but it's got to be good, you know?"
