The Junior League of Lafayette took over Trynd for its festive cookbook re-launch party. Guests sipped bellinis, red roosters and wine while enjoying delicious food made from the cookbooks' recipes. Chef Tiny Henderson performed a live cooking demonstration, and pianist Linda Kidd provided beautiful music. But the real star was Sweet Nothings owner Laura Polito, who created cakes with edible ink and icing that were dead ringers for the actual cookbooks.
