After six years as BancorpSouth's Lafayette president, Teddy Eastin is now the senior vice president for commercial lending for FM Bank's Lafayette market. Farmers Merchants Bank has a new face at its headquarters in Breaux Bridge, but the new senior vice president for Lafayette market commercial lending is no stranger to the local banking scene.
Teddy Eastin joined FM Bank on Aug. 20 after spending six years as Lafayette market president for BancorpSouth.
Eastin, a Broussard resident and St. Martin Parish native, says the move was an opportunity for him to assist FM in growing its operations.
Before he became local president for BancorpSouth, Eastin says he worked for eight years as a senior vice president for commercial lending at Regions Bank.
It's unclear whether BancorpSouth has a new Lafayette market president in place. Calls made to BancorpSouth in Lafayette for comment on Eastin's departure and replacement were not returned.
Headquartered in Breaux Bridge, FM Bank is a locally owned community bank with six branches in Acadiana.
