Our inside source at Fashion Week in NYC reports that one of the biggest trends she's seeing on celebs heading to the shows is the ever easy to wear (and a personal favorite of this IND style gal) sheer.

Two ways to wear sheer for the riskier ladies are the sheer maxi skirt and the sheer backed top.The maxi, shown here twice with simple tucked in shirts, has beautiful movement. (Great choice for a dramatic entrance). Booties are great now and we could even see some taller boots as the weather cools. The other option sheer back can be worn with or without a tank. I wore just such a top last week stripe front all business and long sheer back. A great option for after work if you go sans tank.
We're also seeing sheer dresses over simple tank dresses. And some of those giant palazzo pants of sheer fabric you wore this summer can be a nice transition just add a three-quarter sleeve top or cardi and a little floppy hat and you're fall ready.
