CEOs for Cities needa check they head. We must conclude this after the misty-eyed conclave of smarty pants ranked New Orleans - New Orleans! - dead last in its list of America's most cultured cities. "City Vitals 2.0" ranks 51 metro areas scattered around the country based on a number of criteria that include percentage of residents who travel abroad, walkability, use of public transportation, the number of international students in the area, the number of Wi-Fi hotspots, education levels and the percentage of adults who are self-employed.
Surprisingly, not, "City Vitals 2.0" has been received in the Crescent City like a Latino drag queen at a KKK ice cream social. Our buddy Kevin Allman, editor of Gambit, takes the chief executive orifices to the woodshed in a funny deconstruction of the group's methodology, pointing out that these CEOs may be "New Age sustainable bullshit trendy-word generator artists."
