In honor of its grand opening, Freetown Fries will teaming up with Pack & Paddle for its very first Local FRYday, a 100 percent local event featuring local products, vendors, food, music and free beer (while the kegs last) today from 4-8 p.m.

Freetown Fries will be dishing out the very best homemade fries with seasonal vegetables from local farms out of its eco-friendly Freetown Fry Wagon, which was built entirely out of scratch using recycled materials.

There will also be performances from Chris Stafford & Friends (from Feufollet), Sean Bruce, Delta Papa and the Taylor Stoma Trio. Local vendors including Café Cohen, KellismCo, Native Owl, Breaux Dog, Original Stiles and Hula Hoops by Jody Williams will also be setting up shop druing the event.

Local artists will also be on hand to decorate your very own custom pair of TOMS shoes as Pack & Paddle will be hosting an official TOMS "Style Your Sole" Day as part of the evening's events. A $10 donation to the artist helps them keep their cache of paints stocked and the purchase of a pair of TOMS shoes gives an new pair of shoes to a child in need.
