The small café that began in Great Harvest Bread Company has reached its one-year anniversary and invites Lafayette to stop by and help celebrate.
Jason Cohen opened the premier coffee and espresso bar Café Cohen on Sept. 19, 2011, and welcomes all to his one-year celebration at Great Harvest from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 29, when the café will have free cappuccinos for attendees.
In addition, there will be drawings and giveaways throughout the day. Nathan Shelton of the Dallas-based microroaster Cultivar Coffee, which Café Cohen serves, will be there to celebrate, as well.
