Junior League style show brings fashion off (and on) the runway

The Cajundome was filled Friday with fashionable gals (and a couple guys) during the Junior League's Tinsel & Treasures Style Show and Luncheon. And while there were some demure ladies who lunched (and looked fab) there were some equally fabulous risk takers on and off the catwalk.

We eyed Rebecca Ouellet in some perfect python mustard skinny jeans from Partners LTD. She paired them with a bold contrasting bag and easy white top just what we'd advise when balancing the bold new denim for fall. Sharon Moss took to the catwalk in a series of fabulous outfits. We were loving the bold colored one-shoulder she wore for the finale topped with vibrant purple fur.

We saw all manner of haute hippie on the catwalk from floppy hats all over the gals from Vanessa V. to fringe boots with a vibrant dress from Herringstone. And both were married in one fantastic outfit we are coveting from Brother's colored skinny denim, fringe boots, feather printed top and floppy hat.

Little Town had a Chanel-inspired black and white dress that was a great blend of classic and trendy. And that Alison Howard looked part Jackie-O (once again) and part Wonder Woman walking in a vivid red dress and again in a shimmering metallic number.

Off the runway (and on) we saw loads of tribal print dresses that proved to be great transition pieces. Just add a cardi this week as temps cool along with little booties and you're set. Making it work now and later is what we're all about here at IND style.
