Party Girl

Party Girl October 2012

by Amanda Bedgood

There's something beautiful brewing in Lafayette. It started at Fashion's Night Out where the IND Monthly debuted and then continued for weeks of style-decked events. For years Lafayette's fashion scene has been on the rise with boutiques and salons offering more and more each season that keeps local style mavens looking like globe trotters. And in September it's as though it all came to a big fashion-filled crescendo with the INDStyle Awards serving as proof that Lafayette truly is home to some fabulously unique style. Style that is, well, independent. It's a way of dressing up that's fearless and just a bit infectious. Just the sort of style Party Girl loves to capture.

Fashion's Night Out
Style seekers perused Main Street in River Ranch during Fashion's Night Out with boutiques opening their doors late for trunk shows, champagne toasts, live music and fashion shows. Fashionistas got a first look at the first ever IND Monthly and over at "The Style Sheet," our traveling photo backdrop set up that night at Another Broken Egg, we found more than a few well dressed dames (and dudes) we could all take a cue from in outfitting ourselves.

IND Monthly cover girl Crystall Coroy wowed the crowd in a flirty black dress on the runway while Revolution Hair Salon stunned the crowd with a Big Hair Finale that was, to say the least, really big.
