Couture pop up shop

by Amanda Bedgood

Hemline hosts Pearl Southern Couture shop

Hemline will bring a unique line inspired by the Deep South to Lafayette today through Saturday during the Pearl Southern Couture Pop Up Shop. The trunk show at the River Ranch retailer will feature the fall lineup of their favorite southern designer.

Pearl Southern Couture was founded in May 2008 by Amber Perley who was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from LSU. After graduating with a degree in apparel design, textiles and merchandising she headed to NYC where she interned for the ever unique Charlotte Ronson and worked at Neiman's. Clearly, the girl's got some style.
Check out her latest pieces at Hemline.

We're loving the mossy dress with wrap belt. It's a fabulous day to night with a swap of acessories. Try rocker booties for day and an animal print or velvet heel and metallic clutch at night. Clearly the sequin-covered dress is perfect for cocktail shindigs when temps cool and we'd certainly funk it up with a dressy pair of booties and keep the hair simple and chic with a top knot that shows off the draped back.
