The Cigar Merchant, Glazer's and Charley G's are teaming up for the Hudson whiskey and cigar dinner on Nov. 1. Charley G's is serving its last wine dinner of the year tonight, but fret not, because Nov. 1 holds an opportunity not often available: a cigar and whiskey dinner.

The dinner is five courses, each paired with a Hudson whiskey, provided by Glazer's, along with cigars from The Cigar Merchant. The first course is an antelope carpaccio en brioche with currant relish, paired with a Hudson baby bourbon. The second is a whiskey cheddar bisque with a Manhattan rye, and the third is a wood-grilled wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and a four-grain whiskey. The fourth course is a smoked prime rib with sweet potato purée and the classic creamed spinach, paired with a single malt.

The meal culminates in a dessert that blends cigar and whiskey in a tobacco-infused chocolate ganache bread pudding with a white whiskey butter sauce, paired with a New York Corn whiskey.

The meal is $125, all inclusive, but seating is limited. To make a reservation, call Charley G's at 981-0108.
