Blanco, Durel read to Alice Boucher students

Alice Boucher's World Languages Academy students got a little special attention from community leaders Tuesday morning.

The annual Literacy Day event at Alice Boucher Elementary School's World Languages Academy drew a well-rounded lineup of community leaders Tuesday morning.  PHOTOS BY ROBIN MAY

In an effort to increase student literacy proficiency and continue to build a strong bond between school and community, the academy invites leaders to interact through readings with the students.
