Award winning jewelry designer slated for kiki trunk show

Lafayette native and jewelry designer to the stars Erica Courtney is rolling out her latest collection in more than your average trunk show. The Hollywood darling will actually be on hand Nov. 15 at kiki in River Ranch to show off her newest baubles.

"There are a lot of new creations," Erica said from her California home just weeks before flying to Lafayette for this Thursday's trunk show.

Her new collection, like those before it, is an eclectic offering bringing nothing short of beautiful creations for her clients. "It's really diverse," Erica says of her pieces. "A customer of mine can buy 200 pieces of jewelry and not have the same look."

Such diversity comes from an evolution as she creates. "I design what I want today," she says of her pieces she describes as "bright, girly and beautiful."

In addition to her designs, Erica also offers the option to repurpose your old pieces. "We can make something with a stone you already have. An old diamond ring you have in the safe or a pearl necklace. We just did an elephant out of ivory from someone's safe."

This bracelet above shows how a group of old chain necklaces in the hands of Erica can be reborn into something quite glam. Now that's what I call recycling.
