Pint Night is back

by Patrick Flanagan

Free pint glasses will be given to the first 200 people who show up for Friday's Pint Night - Pack & Paddle's second annual fund-raiser for Louisiana Folk Roots.

Pint Night kicks off at 6 p.m. at Pack & Padde, located on Pinhook near the Evangeline Thruway, and will feature the premiere of Joie à Tous, a new holiday brew by LA-31 that is infused with Mello Joy coffee and aged in Jack Daniel's barrels. The fundraiser also will feature music by Caleb Elliot and Sam Broussard, and food by Freetown Fries.

Proceeds will benefit Louisiana Folk Roots. The first 70 people to arrive will get a "mystery gift," and the first 200, ages 21 and up, will receive free pint glasses.
