Style File: Four fab finds

The best in dressing (and gifting) now

We're always on the hunt for the wearable and wild over here at IND Style. And while we know it's gift giving that should be on our minds, there are many a party and event for which to look fabulous this time of year. And so, I've hand picked four picks that you should be wearing right now (or adding to your gift list for the fashionista in your life ... better yet for the person you know could be a fashionista with some guidance.)

We'll start easy jewelry. Few items are so universally perfect for gift giving. No need to worry about the size, these Druzy stone rings are perfect for the holidays. We found them over at Hemline and while they are perfect for everything you're wearing right now from preppy chic to boho funky (pile them on for some eclectic downtown fabulousness), they're also great for every gal on your list.

When it comes to prints, there's few we love more right now in both home and clothing than the chevron print. Pictured here in a black and white print from Herringstone's, a chevron shift dress is perfect for day and night events. It goes utterly holiday when paired with red or green (or both) accessories. We'd love it with a ruby red scarf, some green patent heels and a chunky gold necklace.

And if you're looking for something truly stand out for holiday evenings, the sequin-decked peplum top from Shoe La La is just the ticket. Presh when paired with a pencil skirt and demure heels. Or try with velvet ankle pants and funky booties. Finish it off with a pair of glittering studs, a messy top knot and some red lips for a totally polished look.

For the funky daytime vibe, the printed legging is quickly gaining momentum. If you're fearful anything but black will do an injustice to your legs, pick the print wisely and pair with a top that offers plenty of coverage. And stick with a solids for every other piece you're wearing and simple shoes. We're loving the styling of solid purple top and wedge boots from Vanessa V.
