Must have pieces for now and later
It's no secret that I love style. It's a 24/7 kind of gig that goes far beyond the parameters of a job description. There's no 'off' button for it. And there are few genres of style I don't love. But, there are certain pieces and items that speak to me in a way that only another fashion lover can understand. That make me think without doubt "that's so me." You know what I'm talking about here.
There a quite a few out there right now, but I hand picked a few that are my absolute favorite local finds.
We'll start with that scarf from kiki. Perhaps it's the writer in me, but there's something I just die over between the handwritten words and the content of the John Lennon Imagine scarf. There are few things I love more than when art meets art.
Over at Hemline, a cobalt top with a longer hem in the back may not be the kind of piece that falls into a "statement" category. But, it's certainly the shape I could wear every day. And it's my favorite color of the moment. While I know it's all about mint, mint, mint, I'm loving loving loving this deep true blue. Bonus: it's the perfect topper to leggings and boots. For now I'd throw a snug blazer over it and when temps get warmer it's perfect solo with a springy necklace, which brings me to the bevy of pieces arriving at Vanessa V.
The different hues of pink and a dash of minty turquoise will take any basics from traditional to trend. I'm crushing most seriously on the gold chunky necklace. How perfect with an all black ensemble? And wonderful for spring when all those floral prints arrive.
