She previously served as the CEO for St. Vincent Morrilton in Arkansas, a member campus of St. Vincent Health System. SVHS is a member system of Catholic Health Initiatives, the nation's second largest faith based system. She was honored with the American College of Healthcare Executives' "Early Career Healthcare Arkansas Executive" award for outstanding hospital and community leadership in 2005 and served on the regional policy board of the American Hospital Association, Region 7, from 2007-2011. Hockaday graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and holds a master's degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
