Some of the South's top chefs will converge on the Cajundome Convention Center tonight for the 2013 Acadiana Culinary Classic.
Tonight marks the 28th Annual Acadiana Culinary Classic being held at the Cajundome Convention Center where the more than 30 of the most talented chefs from all over the South will be serving up some of their very best dishes for review.
Judges from all over the country will be on site to award the various chefs competing in more than 10 food categories at the event. The judges will then bestow upon one worthy chef the Best in Show award at the end of the night. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Hearts of Hope.
The 2013 Acadiana Culinary Classic kicks off with a special wine expo presented by Republic National Distributing Company beginning at 6 p.m. followed by the main event at 7 p.m. Tickets are available $100 for each individual or $1,000 for a table of 10 and can be purchased by calling 337-269-1557.
