The ready-made meals business is leaving River Ranch for downtown Lafayette. Cena, known for its ready-to-cook meals and light lunches, is leaving River Ranch after five years and moving into the former Accidental Chef location downtown.

The new place, located at 406 Garfield St., will allow the owners to focus on catering and on-site events, like parties, special events and corporate events. The new location has large and small, informal and formal spaces, which Cena's staff says will complement the neighboring event venue Esprit de Coeur.

The restaurant, which closed its River Ranch location on March 14, has already relocated downtown and plans to reopen in April.

"We are so grateful to all who have graced our tables, supported our causes, and have made the last five years so much fun," said the release. "Please join us as we embark on our new journey."
