South Louisiana will get some national publicity Friday evening on television in two very different ways. On ABC's entrepreneurial competition show "The Shark Tank," Lafayette native Colin Grussing, an ESA alumnus now living in New Orleans, will pitch his product Friday night (tonight) to the panel of millionaire investors. Grussing started RootSuit.com, a site that sells spandex body suits, mainly for sports fans.

Also tonight, Zack Kopplin will appear on "Real Time with Bill Maher." Kopplin is the Baton Rouge Magnet High alumnus - and now Rice University sophomore - who has led the charge for the last two legislative sessions to have the Louisiana Science Education Act repealed. He has also been an outspoken opponent of Gov. Bobby Jindal's school voucher program, which uses taxpayer money to send students from failing schools to private schools, many of which teach among other things creationism.
