The Advocate has succeeded in its legal effort to get the names of the candidates who applied for the top post.

In a breaking news story posted online Thursday afternoon, The Advocate reported that a state district judge ruled today that LSU's search for a new president was conducted in illegal secrecy, granting a motion filed by the paper and ordering that the names of candidates be turned over.
