For a roundup of the most fabulous flats that do anything but fall flat check out our three finds under 50 bucks. We've got you covered with whatever style you're yearning for as temps warm, from demure mint-colored sandals perfect for cardis and floral skirts to Audrey Hepburn classic patent ballet flats and must-have gladiators for all your boho needs.

Mint to be

Photos by Robin May

A muted mint green (the color of the season) sandal, $32, is just what you can wear with white linen shorts or gauzy long skirts. From Sky Blue.

Shine on

The basic black patent flat goes glossy and uptown with gold details, $40. The perfect pairing for little circle skirts, short suits and ankle pants. From Maven Womenswear.

Buckle up

The neutral camel-hue for these sandals, $28, is perfect with black or brown and the attitude-infused buckles work with rocker Ts as easily as funky boho ponchos. From Vanessa V.

The Statement

It's all about Gatsby this month, and when we spotted this art deco inspired gem from Paul's we knew it's just the sort of piece Daisy Buchanan would approve. With a hint of glamour the agate trimmed with diamonds and set in rose gold is as wearable with an LBD on date night as it is with a silky watermelon colored casual top and ankle pants. A statement with versatility says it all.

Ageless

There are rare moments a find can truly work for mother and daughter (and even more rare when either can wear it multiple ways). When we spotted this ageless dress in this IND Styler's go-to black, we knew it would be the sort of staple in any woman's closet. Vanessa V. also carries it in a flax color perfect for days at the beach. This tunic works great as a dress with wedges (think natural materials like cork and rope) or the season's returning gladiator sandals as well as over leggings when temps are still too cool. Wear with a belt to cinch the waist or even unbuttoned over a bodycon maxi and loads of long necklaces.

Timeless

As summer begins to peek around the corner, colors like this blue that beckon to the sea seem all the more attractive. In a cut that would work for mothers and daughters, this gold button-detailed dress from Brother's on the Boulevard could stay in the closet for many springs to come. Wear with this season's mile high wedges or pair with a simple ballet flat or demure nude pump for a timeless look.
