Vermilionville's Les Vues Film Series returns for another offering this month with its screening of the Emmy-winning documentary All Over But To Cry.

Vermilionville's Les Vues Film Series returns for another offering this month with local filmmaker Pat Mire screening the Emmy-winning documentary All Over But to Cry, which collects the incredible, yet heart wrenching stories of those who survived Hurricane Audrey that hit South Louisiana in 1957. This month's curator is award-winning documentary and narrative fiction filmmaker Mire, whose work includes Dirty Rice and Against the Tide: The Story of the Cajun People.

The Les Vues Film Series June screening of All Over But To Cry will be held on Monday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m., at Vermilionville, located at 300 Fisher Road. Admission to the film series is free, but a suggested $5 donation will go toward screening and curating costs. Refreshments will be made available.
