METAIRIE, La. (AP) - The New Orleans Saints have announced the opening date of training camp.
Players will report July 25 and hold their first of 17 open practices on July 26.
The team said Thursday the Saints will conduct an intra-squad scrimmage on Aug. 3. A time and site have not been determined.
All practices will be held at the team's training complex in Metairie and are open to the public, weather permitting.
The Saints host their first preseason game on Aug. 16 against the Oakland Raiders. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. CDT.
