Troopers will be targeting aggressive drivers, impaired drivers, those that choose not to wear their seatbelts, and those that choose not to secure their children in child restraints.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - State police will have an increased number of troopers on patrol this week and throughout the Fourth of July holiday.

Officials say this extra allocation in manpower is made possible by funding provided by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.

Troopers will be targeting aggressive drivers, impaired drivers, those that choose not to wear their seatbelts, and those that choose not to secure their children in child restraints.
