The 20th iteration of the Sterling Automotive Group Broadway Series brings some time-honored classics from the Great White Way to the Heymann Performing Arts Center.

The Sterling Automotive Group-sponsored Broadway Series has announced its 2013-14 lineup - a schedule marked by popular musicals both old and recent along with a Disney classic that thrived on the Great White Way:

'Mama Mia

Monday, Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m.
Mamma Mia

Set to the bouncy, disco hits of Swedish pop quartet ABBA, Catherine Johnson's tale of a mother, a daughter, three possible fathers and a Greek island has been applauded by more than 45 million audience members since its 1999 debut in London. A popular motion picture based on the musical swept cinemas in 2008 starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.

Cirque Dreams Holidaze
Director Neil Goldberg re-imagines his Broadway hit Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy for the holidays, bringing a cast of acrobats and actors into a high-flying celebration with larger-than-life characters and breathtaking feats from the European cirque tradition.

Memphis
Winner of four Tony Awards including Best Musical, Memphis is loosely based on the life of Memphis disc jockey Dewey Phillips, whose enthusiasm for (and willingness to broadcast) black popular music in the early 1950s paved the way for pioneer rock'n'rollers like Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins. The original Broadway production debuted in 2009 and was almost unanimously praised for its catchy tunes and engaging story.
