Rock joins previously announced headliners Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, the Cure and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Voodoo Fest has added Kid Rock to the lineup for the 2013 festival held annually over the Halloween weekend.

Rock joins previously announced headliners Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, the Cure and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Formally known as the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, the festival will be held Nov. 1-3 in New Orleans' City Park.

This will be Rock's second performance in New Orleans this year. His "Rebel Soul" tour stopped at the New Orleans Arena in February.

Voodoo founder and producer Stephen Rehage said Monday that an artist as diverse as Rock is a perfect fit for a festival that's seen some 2,000 artists from nearly every genre perform.
