A white linen dinner inspired by tailgate classics to kickoff the Ragin' Cajuns football season.
Ruffino's on the River hosted the first Ragin' Cajun Kickoff Wine Dinner on Aug. 26 to bring together UL fans over a six course meal with wine parings. Ruffin Rodrigue welcomed guests to the dinner and Rene' Schnell provided an overview of the wines selected for each course. Dr. Joseph Savoie, Ken Ardoin, and Troy Wingerter were present to represent UL and Ragin' Cajuns Football. The evening's most memorable dish was the Gumbo Ravioli-an upscale version of the classic dish perfect for white linen dining.
