As the Cajuns travel to Arkansas, students gear up for the season's first game.
The tradition of Wear Red every Friday continues as UL Lafayette classes resumed this week and the Ragin' Cajuns hit the road to play Arkansas Saturday. The corner of Rex Street and St. Mary Boulevard closed Friday for the annual block party hosted by the Office of the Student Union and the University Program Council.
It was a sea of red as students hopped around tents hosted by local businesses giving away food, beverages, and prizes - the annual event arrives just in time to boost that Ragin' Cajun spirit. While this week's game is away, fans unable to travel away can catch all the action televised and on radio.
