Less than two days remain to purchase tickets for next week's Entrée to Business Breakfast featuring LSU professor emeritus of economics Dr. Loren Scott and his 2014 economic outlook for Acadiana and Louisiana.
The 10th installment of the event - an ABiz exclusive co-produced each year with Midsouth Bank and Dwight Andrus Insurance - is slated for Thursday, Oct. 17, and will feature the annual economic forecast given each fall by the renowned economist and co-developer of the Louisiana econometric model.
Over the year's, Scott's data-driven Economic Outlook report for Lafayette has become increasingly popular among local business leaders as they evaluate potential risks, craft new marketing strategies and prepare budgets for the coming year.
The deadline to purchase tickets - priced individually at $50 per person or $450 for a premium reserved table of eight - is Thursday at noon. This year's breakfast will begin bright and early at 7:30 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Hilton Lafayette.
