Giant sweaters for fall

There are few things that read fall to this IND Styler more than a giant sweater, a good book and a snuggly blanket. Good news - super sized sweaters are not just for book worms. Oversized sweaters with cowl necks, poncho shapes and long hemlines are leaving the couch this season.

Pulling off the big sweater trend is all about balance. This lover of leggings is glad to have one more piece in the arsenal to keep that legwear around and a loose sweater is the perfect pairing for the never dying skinny jean. Simple sweaters look great when paired with printed leggings and flat boots while rocker girl toppers look perfect with skinny moto pants.

At Hemline a neutral lightweight sweater is the perfect backdrop for a load of boho necklaces and perhaps military inspired pants. We're loving the soft cowl neck sweater from Knotting Hill. This one would work great with some skinny dark denim, leather leggings or a fall hued snug pant and boots. Vanessa V. brings black and white to life with their easy shape that begs for pops of color. The ladies styled it with oxblood booties in one look - well done. But, that graphic print could easily go with any bold color for daytime and then head to the end of the couch for a cozy fall evening.
