Cajun LB Anderson honored by LSWA

UL Lafayette linebacker Justin Anderson had a big night in the Cajuns' rallying win over Western Kentucky.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A McNeese running back, a UL Lafayette linebacker and a kick returner from Southeastern Louisiana split the state player of the week honors in college football as chosen by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

McNeese's Marcus Wiltz helped the Cowboys on offense to a 31-23 win over Sam Houston State in a Southland battle, while UL Lafayette linebacker Justin Anderson had a big night in the Cajuns' rallying win over Western Kentucky.

Southeastern's Xavier Roberson used a 92-yard kickoff return to start a big second half in the Lions' win at Northwestern State in a key SLC clash.
