Acting Up (in Acadiana), the AcA's resident theater company, returns with a two-woman show written by and starring company members, good friends and UL Lafayette Performing Arts Department alumni Lian Cheramie and Sarah Mikayla Brown.

This multi-media collection of vignettes explores the pair's separate and collective experiences growing up Cajun in South Louisiana. Leavened with humor and personal pathos, Cajun Face traverses themes of family, self-identity, romance and attachment to place. The production also features original music and video interviews with members of the community.

The conclusion of each performance will feature a talk-back with Brown and Cheramie, who will be joined by a special guest.
Admission to Cajun Face is $12; $10 for AcA members, students and senior citizens. Get your tickets by calling the AcA at (337) 233-7060, logging on to AcadianaCenterForTheArts.org or visiting the facility's box office at 101 W. Vermilion St. downtown.
