Give the gift of life to a furry friend

It's the season for saving by helping Lafayette Animal Aid

"What if you were the only hope?"

When I first read those words in the subject of an e-mail, all I could think is, "Oh man, for what? I don't know if I'm qualified." But then, I opened the message to see the sweetest dog wearing a Santa hat with the saddest eyes ever - the only hope for some dogs and cats this holiday season is the kindness and generosity of animal lovers.

Lafayette Animal Aid has rescued and cared for hundreds of abandoned cats and dogs this past year and thanks to the organization, many of these animals now have a loving home - but this non-profit can't do it alone and is asking for help.

By making a charitable gift donation to Lafayette Animal Aid, you are able to be part of continuing to help man's best friend find the home he or she deserves. A gift of $25, $50, $75 or more is all it takes with a simple click on the website. For those looking to make an even greater impact, consider becoming a Guardian Angel with monthly sponsorship.

While pets do make wonderful Christmas gifts to give a multitude of memories, talk with a Lafayette Animal Aid representative first about what it really takes to give the right home to a deserving animal and about what cats and dogs for adoption would suit someone you love.

Lafayette Animal Aid's mission to save cats and dogs can continue with your help.
