Grads and gridiron fans gear up for game day and paint the town red

Cajun fans were out in full force Friday throughout the Big Easy - from Champions Square to Bourbon Street, you didn't have to look far to find some dapper gentlemen, new UL alumni and familiar faces from Lafayette. IND staffers asked folks what their game day plans entailed and learned the place to be before the big kickoff is anywhere that serves a tall cold beverage and tasty tailgate treats.

Be sure to look for our crew out around Poydras Street at the Ragin' Cajuns block party, Rouses Louisiana tailgating party, Champions Square and in the Superdome for the RCAF/UL Alumni Association pre-game tailgate party. And, of course, we'll be in the dome to cheer on the Ragin' Cajuns to a third consecutive bowl victory.

From IND Media, good luck Cajuns - don't let go of the rope!
