Here's a great way to add to your home book collection while helping provide funding to the Lafayette Public Library System. Books will be priced by the inch with paperbacks priced at $.50 per inch and hardbacks are $1.00 per inch - some specialty books will be priced slightly higher. Bring the kids along and load up on reads for upcoming trips and summer vacation.

Acting Unlimited presents The Infinite Pages
Theater 810, 810 Jefferson St.

Cody Daigle's play, The Infinite Pages, will begin its run on March 20 at Theatre 810 in Lafayette and continue through March 23. The following weekend, Acting Unlimited will tour the show to the Delta Grand Theater in Opelousas shows from March 28-30. The play revolves around children and the curiosity of what is to come inside the pages of a storybook. Tickets start at $7 for children, students and seniors and $10 in advance for adults or $12 at the door. Tickets may be purchased online.

Model kids talent search to benefit Autism Society of Acadiana

Registration: 9 a.m. for kids and 11 a.m. for adults

Do you have what it takes to be the next top model? If so, come out to the Acadiana Mall and enter to be scouted by agencies representing agencies in Dallas, Los Angeles and even Paris. Registration is $25 and application must include a photo that will not be returned. It's not all about being runway ready - agencies are in search of singers, dancers, actors and actresses as well as fashion models. For additional details, call Simone Foreman at 406-2219.
