Bread & Circus Provisions begins Saturday service

Bread & Circus is open for lunch, dinner and now brunch service on Saturdays. Choose to dine inside or alfresco at a table for two.

Search no more for a new spot to grub on brunchy bites with unique flair only found in here in Lafayette - Bread & Circus Provisions launches a new brunch service Saturday, May 3. The eatery that's one part deli and one part market is delivering everything from deviled eggs, bacon and caviar and a house signature creation called a bounut.

Maybe you have heard of the cronut craze that's croissant meets donut, but here in Louisiana folks are a little less formal, therefor the bounut was born - yes, that's right it's a boudin stuffed donut with cane syrup and powdered sugar.

The salmon hash dish is another blend of traditional brunch ingredients with Bread & Circus' stamp of innovation. For $11 you get a plate of roasted fingerling potatoes with smoked salmon, red pepper aioli, garlic créme fraiche and a fried egg.

For those who play it safe, a plate of homemade biscuits with honey, seasonal fruit jam and pecan butter will pair well with an a la carte serving of bacon and eggs. Grab a seat this Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for a seriously playful brunch.
