A quixotic petition seeking the recall of Gov. Bobby Jindal - not we wouldn't love to see it happen, only that it never will before the end of 2015 - is getting a head of steam on the interwebs.

Started by New Orleans author and investigative reporter Jason Berry, the recall petition hosted by MoveOn.org has more than 1,200 signatures as of this writing. On it, Berry lays out the singular reason for seeking Jindal's ouster: "Governor Bobby Jindal recently signed a legislative bill which prevents Louisiana public entities from suing oil and gas companies. He has sold out own [sic] state for personal interests. Now is the time to recall this Governor."
