by Kari Walker

Fried shrimp poboy and a muffaletta lovers rejoice at this sandwich shop

On most days a sandwich for lunch seems boring - if that's the case, you haven't been to Chris' Poboys. This sandwich shop experience will make you crave crusty bread like you never have before. There's a great menu selection and all the choices are unbelievably tasty. Today's pick is the popular muffaletta sandwich.

This delightful dish contains a helping of Italian favorites like Genoa salami, mortadella, ham, provolone cheese, a scrumptious olive mix and mayonnaise all on toasted Italian bread. The sight of this sandwich will have your mouth watering. The whole-sized muffaletta sandwich is priced at $11.75, but if you're not quite that hungry, Chris' Poboys will happily serve you half sandwich for only $8.25.

There are other options that would make for a great lunch or dinner like the heavenly Chris' Special or grab a shrimp poboy to satisfy your seafood craving. Of course, you can never go wrong with the chicken and sausage gumbo.

Luckily for all of us, there are three Chris' Poboy locations and all are open from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. on the weekdays and open at 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
