Great story on “Fill ‘er Up ,” (Jan. 9). I moved to Houston from Lafayette about two years ago, and I am still looking for a good plate lunch. Home cooked gas station food is one of the few things I miss about Lafayette. Your story made me a little homesick and very hungry at the same time.
