EatLafayette Dish of the Day: Nash's pork rib-eye au poivre

by Madeline Hurst

A peppercorn sauce and side of creamy sweet potatoes perfect for an evening out

Nash's Restaurant in Broussard is all about Italian, seafood and steaks and is dishing up something special on its EatLafayette menu. For $28.00, you get a four-course meal with plenty of options.

One of these specials is the pork ribeye au poivre - this tender piece of meat prepared with a peppercorn sauce is served with candied yams topped with perfectly toasted marshmallows, as well as the vegetable du jour.

Our other recommendation is the fresh filet of Gulf poisson, which is pecan-crusted and topped with a light meuniere, sauce and comes served with crisp potatoes and vegetable du jour.

The Eat Lafayette menu at Nash's is available Monday through Friday from 5-7 p.m. and is a dine-in special only.
