The best part of childhood, but without the crust

Summertime as a child often meant making your own sandwich for lunch - and who doesn't love a classic peanut butter and jelly? Sophi P. Cakes is known for taking crazy flavors and morphing them into rad cupcakes and this July specialty cake is spot on - it's white cake filled with strawberry jelly and topped with a generous piping of housemade peanut butter cream cheese.
If a PBJ is not your ideal brown bag lunch favorite, check out some of the other monthly special cupcakes inspired by summer like the lemon-stawberry sha'bang, a lemon cake with strawberry cream cheese filling and lemon buttercream, or a good old fashion Granny's apple pie - we think this one is pretty self explanatory but might we suggest a brief blitz in the microwave and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make it an a la mode.
For EatLafayette, check out two special flavors featuring Sweet Crude Rum - a banana or strawberry daiquiri are bite-sized versions of the classic frozen summer drinks and only available until the end of the campaign, so get them while you can. And, when you mention EatLafayette you'll receive 50 cents off every Sweet Crude daiquiri cupcake on Wednesdays and Fridays now until the end of August.
