Chef's Table Experience winner announced

by Kari Walker

Congratulations to Stella Theriot and seven friends who will enjoy a private dinner hosted by INDEats and EatLafayette

INDEats and EatLafayette will host the Chef's Table Experience, a private dinner for eight at Village Café in River Ranch, where Executive Chef Jeremy Conner (a Louisiana Cookin' 2014 Chef to Watch) and a collaborative group of chefs selected from EatLafayette participating restaurants will combine their culinary skills to prepare an exclusive multi-course menu complete with cocktail pairings.

During the past few weeks, INDEats has asked for readers to submit entries via a Facebook contest asking which basket they would like to see prepared as the main course at the dinner - the winning entry receives the private dinner for eight. We selected ten of our favorite dish ideas and then chose the winner at random - congratulations to Stella Theriot who will invite seven of her friends to dine with her on Monday, Aug. 4. Here's Stellas winning entry:

Along with Conner, chefs Manny Augello of Bread & Circus Provisions, Holly Goetting of Charley G's and Alex Andrade of Rusted Rooster join in for this exclusive experience for the lucky eight.

As part of this year's EatLafayette dining campaign, the Food, Wine, Beer and Spirits Experience will take place throughout Lafayette during the week of Aug. 4-9. Participating restaurants will host special wine and spirits dinners and events in addition to their existing menus.
