BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Add Texas Gov. Rick Perry‘s name to the list of possible Republican presidential candidates flooding the campaign trail for GOP Senate candidate Bill Cassidy.

Perry is scheduled to attend three early voting rallies with Cassidy next week, on Tuesday in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Covington. He‘ll be urging people to cast ballots for Cassidy in the Dec. 6 runoff against Democratic incumbent Mary Landrieu.

Other likely GOP presidential contenders have headed to the state to lend a hand to Cassidy.

Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon popular among his party‘s conservative base, rallied with Cassidy before the Nov. 4 election. A few days after that primary, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul was in Baton Rouge for the Senate candidate.

This weekend, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is headlining two events for Cassidy.
