LHC Group has hired Dionne E. Viator as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. The hire is effective Feb. 1.

Dionne Viator

A certified public accountant, Viator is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, bringing more than 25 years of financial, operational and administrative experience to LHC Group, a national provider of home health, hospice and comprehensive post-acute health care services.

Viator spent the last 21 years of her career at Baton Rouge’s General Health System, a $500 million net patient revenue health care system with 527 licensed beds between two hospital campuses and more than 80 employed multispecialty physician partners and numerous joint venture operations in Baton Rouge. During her time at GHS, Viator served as executive VP, chief strategy and network development officer, executive VP of business development and CFO.

Viator is credited with the growth of the health system through the identification and negotiation of joint venture opportunities, cultivation of strategic relationships and implementation of these joint ventures, having served as principal leader for the planning and analysis, financing and construction management.

Effective Jan. 31, Jeffrey M. Kreger, who joined LHC Group in February 2013 as senior VP of finance and has been serving as EVP, CFO and treasurer since January of this year, will reassume his senior vice president of finance role.

Anne Falgout is the new executive director of Vermilion Parish Economic Development District, responsible for facilitating business retention in Vermilion Parish and serving as the primary point of contact for industry interested in relocating to the area.

Falgout also serves as an adviser to the business community regarding its growth and development opportunities, including access to resources available at the local, state and federal levels. She most recently was director of market intelligence at the Lafayette Economic Development Authority. During her 13-year tenure at LEDA, she maintained the organization’s quality management system and provided clients with information that empowered them to make sound business decisions.

Falgout, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from UL Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in English, is a native of Abbeville, where she maintains close ties as a third-generation member of the Confrerie d’Abbeville, which sponsors the city’s annual omelette celebration. She also is incoming president of the705, an Acadiana-wide young professional organization.
