MAR 26 David Vitter certainly has sexual issues with women, if the allegations that he was a regular customer of pimps in DC and NOLA are correct, but apparently he's got other issues with chicks as well, blogger Tom Aswell says in this post. He's reminding us of the same story Lamar was writing about this week.

MAR 26 Duck person Phil Robertson is making headlines again. This time, while trying to make some point (we're not sure what it is, but surely there was a point) he comes up with a story about an atheist family who suffer an attack in which the young girls and wife are raped and the man is sexually mutilated and murdered. Seriously, what is in that iced tea?

YEAH, BECAUSE THAT'S WORKING OUT SO WELL
MAR 26 Here's a story on Politico quoting Bobby Jindal as saying that the next president needs to be a conservative governor. Right - because what we really need in the US of A is a massive deficit, reduced credit ratings, screwed up health care systems and blind allegiance to Norquist, ALEC and the Kochs. Oh, and one of Bobby's top priorities for this new prez? Pushing back on media. Right - because the media caused the collapse of the banks, the wars we're in, the destruction of our public education system and global warming. Oh wait - forget global warming. The liberals made that up.

MAR 26 Here's a new post on the Drinking Culture blog of NOLA Defender. This time, our intrepid imbiber is visiting Pal's over in Mid City. As usual, a story is told, a picture painted, and it is fascinating.

MAR 26 Here's a cool story that is making the rounds of the national news. This post on NBC tells of an 18-wheeler that got stuck while carrying a couple of elephants in north Louisiana. The truck was in danger of tipping over, so the elephants were removed from the trailer and pressed into service. It's a cute story, but don't tell PETA.

MAR 26 This post on American Zombie puts a recent (horrific) story out of New Orleans in perspective. Video has surfaced of some young white boys beheading a goat, which coincides with the SPCA's complaint regarding the headless body of a goat in the yard of a house in the 700 block of Broadway in uptown NOLA. What's in that block? A bunch of Tulane fraternity houses. Wow - this is how Jeffrey Dahmer got started. Not cool.
Thursday's Blogs from the Bog!
What is Vitter's problem with chicks? Aswell is wondering aloud. Also today in La La Land, some frat boys are suspects in a goat beheading and a couple of pachyderms save the day!
