And the Winners Are ...

Eleven of the best commercial projects from throughout Acadiana earned a 2015 INDesign Award.

Since their 2005 launch, the INDesign Awards have returned each spring to honor Acadiana’s most exemplary projects of the past year in commercial and residential architecture and interior design, historic preservation and urban development.

A record number of entries this year were evaluated by judges Eddie Cazayoux (architecture) and Beth Miller (interior design).

Cazayoux is an architect who heads the local firm EnvironMental Design, where he practices sustainable architecture and historic preservation. A retired professor of architecture in the School of Architecture & Design at UL Lafayette, Cazayoux taught for 30 years and was the director for 13. He was named Distinguished Professor and held the Regents Professorship in Architecture.

Miller is an interior designer and professor in Mississippi State University’s College of Architecture, Art and Design and serves as director of its interior design program.
