0507 dry shampoo

The BEST IN BEAUTY is something that truly makes life better, easier, faster. Today, we talk dry shampoo. If you haven't tried it, you're truly missing out on a product that can entirely change your beauty routine.

Once upon a time I washed my hair every day. I'll never get that time back. I can't imagine the hours wasted with all that washing. And then I discovered dry shampoo.

Dry shampoo can have three basic functions — my favorite is prolonging the days without washing streak — that in my life are: dirty hair looks clean, flat hair gets volume, root disguising.

If you deal with flat hair like I do dry shampoo on the roots after you wash and dry (and before you tease) can keep hair voluminous for longer. It's also staying off the scalp, which means longer days between hair washing. Just spray on roots sparingly and gently comb or brush until you get the results you want.

The root disguise might be a new one for even devoted dry shampoo users because only a few lines carry colored powder. It's the perfect way to get by when you can't get in to take care of the roots. Spray on the hair and avoid the scalp then brush through.

Moroccan Oil dry shampoo over at Bath Haus now comes in two colors for darker or lighter hair. My personal favorite has long been the Bumble and Bumble line that makes a slew of colors and smells great. They even have a red hair powder. And it's on fire. (Snagging the red can be hard. Going online is often the best bet.)
