The Lafayette Young Lawyers Association celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a crawfish boil at Century Club Downtown on April 30. A section of the Lafayette Bar Association, LYLA is made up of attorney members who are either under 40 or who have been practicing law for five years or fewer. While the event focused on celebrating the past 25 years of community service by LYLA’s members, special recognition was also paid to the local entities that sponsored the anniversary event: The Settlement Alliance; the law firm of Briney, Foret, Corry; and Barczyk Chiropractic Group.
